Editing lesson content, structure, quizzes, etc.

Courseau generates a first draft of content based on the lesson objectives and your course parameters. We strongly recommend that all content be checked by a subject-matter expert before publishing.

Insert content

  1. Click anywhere, or press the small white [ + ] icon within the content.

  2. Press the [ / ] key to pull up a menu.

  3. Images, videos or other content can also be copy-pasted directly into the editor.

Add new card or lesson

  1. Click on the large [ + ] button on the right toolbar.

  2. Select a layout and content type.

  3. To generate the card/lesson with AI, toggle ON [generate with AI] and optionally insert a topic.

  4. To add a blank card/lesson, toggle OFF [generate with AI].

  5. To add/generate a new lesson, tab to [Lesson].

  6. Click [Add Card/lesson].

Edit with AI & general formatting

  1. Highlight the text to find AI helper and formatting options.

Regenerate, delete or hide a card or lesson

  1. Press the ⟳ update icon on the right toolbar.

  2. To regenerate a card, input a new topic the new card should be about.

  3. To regenerate an entire lesson, tab to [lesson] and make any optional edits to the lesson outline.

  4. Click [regenerate Card/Lesson].

Edit quiz

  1. Click on the ✎ pencil Icon on the top right corner of the content.

  2. Edit/delete the generated answers and rationales. It's also possible to toggle on more than one correct answer.

Replace an image

  1. Click on the ✎ pencil Icon on the top right corner of the content.

  2. Edit/delete the generated answers and rationales. It's also possible to toggle on more than one correct answer.
