By default, layout blocks use a constrained width of 800 pixels. This keeps line lengths short and easy to read. When you switch to Full width, the layout expands to fill the page. Full-width layouts give you more room for visual or complex content.
The option applies to these layout blocks:

Timeline

Cycle
Each layout stores its own width setting. Changing one block does not affect the others.
1. Open the lesson in the lesson editor.
2. Select the layout block you want to update.
3. In the toolbar above the block, select Constrain width or Full width to switch the setting.
The block updates in the editor, and the same width applies when a learner views the lesson.
Pick the width that fits the content in the block.
use Constrain width for text-heavy layouts, where short lines improve readability
use Full width for media-rich layouts, wide tables, or content that benefits from extra horizontal space
